Montreal Tech Watch

I’m looking at the calendar, and looks like 2012 is going to be even more busier than 2011. For next week, I counted 12 tech events. Which one are you going to? I’m listing next the ones you should not miss, and also others that you might want to check out.

The ranking is of course subjective, as you will see :)

Main events:

  • Montreal NewTech is tomorrow at McKibbins, on bishop’s. Mark your calendar! RSVP here. MTL NewTech is Montreal’s monthly meetup where startups and tech projects launch, in front of 50 to 80 techies. It’s also a great networking opportunity, for those new in town, or also for the veterans. So be there! The list of demoed startups:
    • Context.IO will be presenting their API version 2.0
    • Gimmebar is a magical little bar that lets you save your web discoveries
    • REMtl.ca geolocates contaminated & decontaminated locations in Montreal.
  • 5 à 7 Montreal StartupWeekend at Fasken Martineau Wednesday. 50 entrepreneurs and major partners expected
  • CUSEC is an excellent conference on computer science, from wed to end of the week.
