Montreal Tech Watch

  • Do you think it is hot for web sites to crash under load? (*)
  • Are you happy with your web site performance?
  • Do you enjoy paying for beer and pizza?

Those are all very good reasons NOT to come to the first Montreal Java User Group event of 2012.

Terracotta engineer Alex Snaps will present “Scaling Up and Out” at the Montreal JUG, with free pizza and beer at SUPINFO Canada on January 24, 2012 at 5:45 PM.

The Montreal JUG meets regularly to exchange ideas and discuss technological news around the Java platform. Events are free and usually consist in a unique presentation of 90 minutes, with lots of time for questions and answers.

New in 2012, the group is now more social with a Facebook group, new hockey-friendly dates for events, and free beer and pizza from our sponsors!

Our partners JRebel and IntelliJ also give free licenses away to attendants (random draw).

We ask that you please register through EventBrite. You will find the link from our web site: www.montreal-jug.org

Any questions? Please email us at info@montreal-jug.org!

(*) Someone made a hilarious talk about this, but I couldn’t find the link; apparently looking for “web site down sexy” did not provide the results I was looking for.
