For those interested in application usability, and also those interested in hooking up with technology companies, a bug hunt event is scheduled this thursday July 28th, 6pm at Notman House (51 Sherbrooke west).
Like in previous editions, the idea is simple: have a diverse panel of users go through your application, at the same time, and let them log bugs, comments, feedback in a common document (see previous Google doc here). It’s also a unique opportunity for product owners to watch how people are using their application, validating their product roadmap or highlighting instead bugs in the interface that they need to fix.
Each company is invited to participate in beer & pizza money, with a short presentation (2 to 3mn) of their application and also present what users should do, with a summary of the directions on the common document. We then have 20 minutes or so of user testing

Here are the participating companies:
- mTrip develop intelligent travel guides, for the iPhone and Android. Users get a personalized itinerary, depending on what kind of locations and activities they prefer.
- iWeb wants to see how people use servers & the server control panel.
- matchFWD is a hot new startup, connecting talent with growing companies and connectors
- ArtSumo connects artists from emerging countries with art aficionados around the world. Shipping included!
