Montreal Tech Watch

Conor Clarke, a young entrepreneur fresh from McGill university, and his co-founder at wavo.me are working hard to push an alpha version of their new social multimedia reader at next week’s International Startup Festival. It’s an ideal opportunity, similar to web startups who are targeting SXSW, the huge digital mecca conference where Twitter and others like localmind got their first wave of fans. If you are launching soon, why not also push hard for the next few days and get your application visible in front of startup fans and entrepreneurs?

Wavo.me promises to be a beautiful reader with content from your social media network, akin to a rss reader but for twitter, facebook and other sites. The team also uses awesome technologies (nodejs and of course objectiveC), and I am also excited about the “intelligent feature” as promised in their tagline.
