Karl B. from Fundica beings @ TheBugHunt

Last week, we had a “bug hunt” session at the Notman House, an event aimed towards startups and product developers and designers.

For those who’ve been to a bug hunt session, it’s an opportunity to participate in a small but fun & focused event where you get to discover new & existing applications. A diverse panel of users are invited to test thoroughly an application, and they can freely write their feedback in a common Google document.

The first application to be tested was Fundica, which offers a free and as well paid product. Specials props to Karl and Julia who met the community, presented the application and took users’ comment at the event.

The 2nd application was a project done at Notman, called bandmo, a site creator for music bands. Bandmo focuses on the ease of use, and getting your band site online as fast as possible. It’s easy to change a background or upload tunes to the player.

The 3rd application was enterprising.ly, a new service center for anyone who’s starting a technology project. We wanted to know if visitors knew immediately what the site was offering, and also discover problems in the purchasing process of a development service. There’s indeed a lot of improvements to do for enterprising.ly

The last application is a new startup called foreveralive, a tool that would make it easier for your loved ones to manage your virtual assets, a problem that hasn’t been properly handled by any company up to now. ForeverAlive used the opportunity to test the signup process and see if anybody would add their details into the application.

The general feedback from those sessions is that product owners get mad, but they do see the priceless feedback they get from the sessions. If you want to test your app at the next bug hunt, visit the site or ping us by leaving a comment!
