Last MtlNewTech was busy. It was at McKibbins, a place somehow smaller than other venues such as Notman House, but has the advantages of being a pub, with large amounts of beer and food available. Plus it’s great for meeting new people! It also has free wifi and a good audio/video setup
Meet the great folks from Fundica
Fundica has all the funding sources in Canada. If you are launching a company, they have been in the business for years and can you help get the critical funding for starting out. The Fundica team also likes meeting entrepreneurs and making sure that their services meet the needs of their customers.
Laurent Maisonnave, all around TV / video / social media guy, is to the left. He has been busy on SeeVibes, a new tool to monitor social media response to TV shows, a useful tool for advertisers, brands, and TV stations.

Christian Perron, to the right, is the main sponsor of the MtlNewTech events. He runs SDEVM or Société de Développement Économique Ville Marie. The fund helps new businesses get off the ground, through grants, loans, and also close support.
The marketing team from iWeb Technologies were also at MtlNewTech. iWeb has been promoting the new SmartServer product, as well their new branding.

Phil Gauvin presents a new service, MatchFWD, aimed to connect job seekers, companies, and connectors. MatchFWD offers a cool interface plus an intelligent ranking of good candidates for a new job listing. Opening up soon!
