mollejuos, layar montreal

Mollejuo Software, a Montreal-based mobile app developer, has developed a layar, with the list of local metro stations. As seen above, you’ll be able to find a way through the streets, following the blue dot on your iPhone in real-time, even if there is no visibility.

Of course, you guessed this is an amusing and simple use case of augmented reality. The credit goes mainly to layar’s platform, which allows third-parties like Mollejuo to produce those new layers. However, as demonstrated in the ARMTL meetups, we are just at the beginning for this technology, trying to define the best use and application of augmented reality. The screenshot above should give you more ideas on how to use augmented layer!

In related news, ARMTL meetups organizer JF Kitchiguine is looking for a marketing/entrepreneur person to present at the next ARTML meetup, as well as developers who’d want to participate.
