Montreal Tech Watch

Pléiade Capital, a students initiative regrouping business school HEC Montreal, Université de Montréal, and engineering school Polytechnique de Montréal, is organizing tomorrow evening a conference with Chris Arsenault (@chrisarsenault) from iNovia Capital and François Gilbert from Anges Québec.

The event is named “Enjeux et Opportunités du Capital de Risque au Québec”, which I expect to be 101 presentation on the VC industry in Québec, with many graduate and post-grad students discovering startups and startup funding, perhaps with the goal of getting involved or even starting their own venture. Like the @startupifier initiative, it’s also great to see students getting involved, a bridge that we’ve been trying to gap for years
