MontrealOuvert Hackathon Photo from the first MontrealOuvert Hackathon

Open government data group MontrealOuvert has announced a second hackathon Saturday Jan 29th. Like the first event, it’s an all-day event dedicated to the development of data APIs, applications, and interfaces relevant to Montreal citizens.

The first event gathered gathered a diversity of developers at StationC, all believing in open data, with ideas in real estate information, public health, events, finances, politics, and little (and great!) things such as ice rings. The motivation led to quick results, and we’ve got now resto-net.ca or Patiner Montreal (announced on Android too). This second event promises to be one of the most exciting developers event in January!

If you are not a developer, you are also welcomed to take a coffee and discuss ideas.
