[Upcoming] Cocoaheads, MtlNewTech

By Heri Dec 6th 2010 in Events

Early this week, we have 2 interesting tech events, Cocoaheads and MtlNewTech

cocoaheads The first event is Cocoaheads scheduled this evening, Monday Dec 6th, at Station-C, 5369 bvd St-Laurent. The meetup is modeled after the the Cocoaheads organized already in hundreds of cities worldwide, with the goal of discussing Apple’s cocoa framework. The event is organized by Wherecloud and Edovia, two successful iPhone applications developers (see WhereCloud profile here).

There are already more than 20 people registered at the event. Due to the iPhone/iPad’s popularity, and also due to Apple’s thriving software platform, I’m expecting cocoaheads to be a “hot” meetup for the following months.

Register for the first Cocoaheads

The second event is the Montreal NewTech demo, scheduled tomorrow Dec 7th, at McKibbins. If you haven’t been to one (and you should!), it’s a monthly free event where startups and entrepreneurs get to demo their applications in front of a tech-savvy audience, with also ample time scheduled for networking and getting to know more about the local technology scene.

Felipe Coimbra has still one spot left for a demo. Register for Mtl New Tech

Here are example of tweets from [...]
