drupalcamp montreal

Drupal, a powerful open source CMS solution, is going strong in Montréal. Drupal events and camps have been around for years, supported by a large base of developers, template designers, and web agencies using the CMS to build feature-rich websites for companies, and also to run small (and big) media websites. Its strength lies in its extensive customization features, in a ready-to-use package. That’s a big incentive for those who want to go beyond engines like wordpress but don’t want to hire a ruby/.net/python programming team.

If you are a drupal developer, or if you are contemplating using Drupal as a CMS, there’s a group now organizing the next drupal camp. It will be hosted at McGill in late October. Sessions include starting with Drupal, extending, programming modules, business models with Drupal, web2.0 features, plus also advanced funtionnality. Of course it’s also a great opportunity to network, in case you’re looking for a job… or looking for customers :-)
