Montreal Tech Watch

The monthly mentoring event is back! This time, it’s with Carl Mercier (@cmercier), serial entrepreneur, founder of Defensio, a startup focused on anti-spam technologies.

Defensio was bootstrapped by Carl Mercier and is a great example of a technology-focused company, which delivered its promise of a product useful to millions of publishers on the web. Carl and a small technology team built their own anti-spam software, and the company got acquired by WebSense, a tech security company based in California.

It’s an unique opportunity to meet and talk with Carl Mercier. This should be specially interesting for engineers, programmers, students in software engineering looking to know more about tech entrepreneurship. Carl Mercier is going to talk about his experiences, how he succeeded and you can also ask specific questions about projects you are currently developing (or thinking about)
