Montreal Tech Watch

2 weeks ago, there was a major post on MontrealTechWatch, which lead to lengthy discussions on Montréal’s potential as a technology hub. It’s great to see so many pitching in ideas and their thoughts on Montreal’s strengths. Many also suggested also mentorship programs, growing the tech community, getting global, getting more experienced entrepreneurs to talk with new ones.

I am also sure that for one active commenter, there are hundreds of “silent” readers who either do not have the time, or who are just observing & contemplating on the sidelines, for various reasons.

The goal today is getting both the voices of both active members of the community, as well as the voices of those hundreds silent readers, in getting a representative picture of the Montreal landscape.

I’ve setup a quick survey, about Montréal’s strengths, problems, and last, opportunities we could leverage.

The survey will take you at most 5 minutes, and is open to anyone. Of course, results will be shared & published at the end of the survey, in one week.

I never do it, but I also ask you now to help promote this survey, either by tweeting it, emailing it, or sharing it on Facebook. Send it to entrepreneurs, friends, developers, designers, organizations and even outsiders. The more answers we get, the more accurate and representative the survey will get. I hope the survey will lead to the support of different initiatives and participate in re-launching Montreal to the next level.

Take the survey.

Thanks for your support!
