I heard about it at 11am while it was scheduled at 10.30am last wednesday. another explanation was that the protest regrouped many cultural groups in montreal, going beyond the digeratis... so you got people from the cinema, music, comedians etc. but I agree, it's unfortunate. SAT deserves more support. I don't even know how the first democamps would have been staged if SAT wasn't there the event was unfortunately reported too late.
