I’ve raised the idea of having a Mobile Developer Meetup in Montreal.
If any of you is interested in developing for the iPhone SDK, or Google’s Android platform, or any other mobile device, leave a message. If we have more than 4/5 people interested, we will arrange something downtown — say next wednesday 19th around 6pm, or any other convenient day.
Things to talk about: geolocation, mobile commerce, mobile social networking, search, entertainement, web applications for mobile devices etc.

there are already some folks working on a Mobile Monday for Montreal (see mcken’s comment). It was supposed to launch in January, but they are now looking at April. In the meantime, I think it would be great to get techies interested in mobile development together. Great idea Heri, count me in.

I’m really interested in the iPhone SDK. I’ve already spent a fair a bit hacking on code.
Although, I would prefer it to be on a friday night … If you really want it to be on wednesday I can only be there starting at 8:30pm

im definately interested. whenever it is…i’m no programmer but the front end design part definately interests me.

We are interested, as a WebObjects and mobile development business for many year, we are really excited to see that an Apple product is creating all this hype. We should be 2 or 3 to be there.
