Sylvain Carle sets CUSEC on fire (6)
… well not really, but I really liked his presentation at CUSEC (Canadian University Software Engineering Conference). This is no ground-breaking philoshophy, but it’s fresh and inspiring.
I think he is the only guy who can talk about nothing (and everything) during 40 slides and get away with it.
Presentation taken freely from his blog. Hope it’s ok.

I was pi**ing myself laughing when I read his slides this morning. Gotta love Sylvain.

Had a lot of fun, it was a great audience.
Ah! Now, I remember why I’m the one who was selected to do the first draft of our VC-pitch powerpoint! BTW, I suspect I’m the poster-child Praized Media MBA (yet geek) Sylvain is mentioning in his presentation. My advice: no more than 15 slides when you’re trying to raise money! :-)
@Sébastien: You mean your VC’s didn’t calculate your valuation based on the number of slides? Maybe you should tell Sylvain. ;-)
@sebastien: yup, but to touch the spirit of a room full of potentially brilliant ideas the VCs will fund, it takes 223, a Macbook and a Sylvain on stage. :)
