Bell launches HD tour with Hollywood stunt in Montréal (3)

October 3rd, 2007 · by Heri · Technology

According to a recent study, only 50% of owners of HD TVs in Canada use it to view High Definition programming. In order to promote their service, Express Vu HD, Bell Canada believes organizing a stunt show will encourage more Montrealers to try HD shows.

Today, at 12.15pm, in front of Centre Bell, they will show fights and explosions, “Terminator-style”, and then local humorist Francois-Etienne Paré will speak about the virtues of HD. This is intriguing, although I thought they would do something with Microsoft the day when Halo 3 was launched in Montreal, as Bell is in partnership with MSN since the beginning.
