Is Montreal Illuminated?

Heri spends a great deal of time on MTW, wondering out loud if Montreal is, or is becoming, an international innovation hub.

Red Herring Canada’s Innovation Illuminated conference, taking place in Montreal over the next couple days, seems to indicate a step in a positive direction, both for the city’s exposure and gravitational pull.

It remains to be seen, however, whether the conference will deliver the goods. Will the talks be fluff and fantasy or will they be fertile foundations for thought? I’ll be in attendance, pencil in hand laptop in lap, and filing reports to MTW over the next couple days with my thoughts.
