red herring

Roberto Rocha, from TechnoCité, has an interview with Joel Dreyfuss, editor-in-chief of Red Herring, about a tech conference scheduled next month in Montreal. Joel Dreyfuss mentions in the interview Canada’s potential as a place for making global business with Europe and Asia, and also clean tech, social networking, video games, and finally biotech.

If you look at the event’s page, you will find a great list of speakers, ranging from VCs, bankers, and successful technology entrepreneurs. Would sound compelling, although I am sure you know that Red Herring is on a deathwatch and its reporters are all leaving the boat, making its prestige a long-gone souvenir
