Watchmojo.com, a Montréal producer of web videos, has struck a deal yesterday with Azureus Vuze to include their library. Vuze is a new peer-to-peer video distribution application, much alike Joost, Veoh or Babelgum, with a focus on HD content, user interaction, and also monetization. Users can create their own channel, rate and comment videos; and producers can ask for a download or a rental fee.

Watchmojo has more than 4000 videos, all original, on a very diverse set of topics. It distributes its videos currently to popular destinations like youtube, myspace or dailymotion. Here are a couple of videos from watchmojo:

As you can see, watchmojo’s videos are professionally produced, and they deserved to have more exposure, and much further than Vize. For me though, they would need to overhaul their website and break it down into topics. I would for instance have a network of websites, each having its dedicated topic and followers. and yes, include comments, and more information and context about the videos.
