Kristina Tomaz Young, the energic entrepreneur covering startups, has relaunched SI with KTI to Venture Cap TV, or VC-TV

Previously, SmartIniatives featured interviews from local tech entrepreneurs like Austin Hill or from investors/gurus such as Guy Kawasaki. It used worpdress, but the format was more like a monthly magazine about startups. Now, Kristina Tomaz Young will be using video to cover the startup world.

You know what they say, video captures the mind, and Loic Le meur’s success in France is enough for me to proove the power of video, although I know that it takes too much a lot of time to produce videos. I also like the idea of cowgirl/wild wild west, i.e. comparing the startup world to a wild, still unexplored country with lots of opportunities, where innovators and risk-takers would get most of the rewards. This is a powerful image (although she doesn’t really make it clear). This is a promising start and I am waiting for the next video reports.
