flickr loves you
Flickr is organizing a community event for Flickr users tomorrow at Société des Arts Technologiques, 1195 bvd St-Laurent, from 6.00pm to 9.

I am not sure what attendees will be doing, if there is going to be discussions or if this is just a users’ party. In both cases, I am writing about it because Flickr has been a proven leader in user interface design, social networking, community management, and features. If you are a web entrepreneur, a blogger or a podcaster, you should have a look at Flickr’s innovation and dedication. I am using myself Flickr, with photos in creative commons, and found it as the best web application to store your pictures, but I consider myself as casual user. If you come at tomorrow’s event, you will find more than 250 passionnate flickrites. Going tomorrow should be an opportunity to see how a web service created a real community, a real-life lesson in marketing, much more relevant than any book or blog on web design and marketing you can think of.
