Branchez-vous has acquired 51% of tonclip.com and are planning to integrate it into their main portal. You can now see one elegant branchez-vous header and a footer on tonclip.com.
As a sidenote, Branchez-vous had already a technology videoblog at branchez-vous.tv and an “entertainement” video channel at BV2.tv
About tonclip, this youtube clone opened on october last year, and defined itself as a place to find quebec videos, altough I have yet to see a video from Québec in the website. They are also the only video portal I know that displays a video ad, with the sound on, when the other video you asked for is played. sigh… they could have at least copied youtube’s best features
I hope now that this acquisition improves dramatically tonclip. They have a lot to do in marketing and in the user interface.
