Read/WriteWeb has a great article on the OpenCoffee Club Movement.

Heri – I’m all for it. A couple of people within the OpenCoffee “movement” emailed me after seeing information about the Entrepreneur Breakfast.

Had I known about OpenCoffee I probably would have just called it that; because they’re basically the same – although we have yet to get a lot of VCs out to the Entrepreneur Breakfast.

Maybe I’ll just try and invite a few more…

    great

say, i will try to invite students from universities next time.

by the way, have you also seen the 2nd picture in the article (Limerick openocoffee). i would like a setting like that. seems more open to interaction than what we currently have at Etc bistrot.

Agreed for the setup. Bisto Etc. is better than Cafeteria from my perspective, but not the “ultimate” setup, yet.

The Tech Entrepreneur Breakfast is kind of like OpenCoffee already. I guess it’s “our” version of OpenCoffee. :)

hi fred. yeah. the difference is that they have a fun name.

on a more serious note, yes the two are very similar
