X20 is launching now XPresenter2.0 at NAB2007, in Las Vegas. XPresenter was at its debut a Powerpoint extension that has evolved into a full-fledged platform for content editing and publishing.
With a drag and drop interface, you can broadcast video, news, data to televisions sets and projectors located around your facilities. I have reported earlier about Touché!phd using it to set up an internal TV channel, with their custom RSS feeds and videos displayed to the ad agency staff.

XPresenter interface: From PowerPoint to a custom TV Channel
Version 2.0 of the software introduces smart templates, allowing real-time creation of content. It also handles RFID tags: nearby chips are detected, and customized information can then be displayed (might be a hint that they are going after the security industry). Finally, it introduces a web content manager interface, allowing users to edit and setup the video stream.
This is very impressive, altough I feel this is in its core a PowerPoint hack and they should really develop a standalone software, independent from Microsoft.
