Montreal Tech Watch

Ubisfot Montreal and Québec City Studios has released yesterday TMNT, the video game.

mutant ninja turtle video game

I hate and abhorr this so much. It’s so obvious it came from a marketing meeting where a few uninspired said: let’s market a xbox360 adware game for teenagers, with lots of explosions, fancy colors and monsters. We shall throw in a movie license too and we will get shitloads of money!

There is no innovation, be it artistic, design or technical, and they even managed to loose the original freshness and playfulness of the original series. The saddest part is that a lot will buy the game, based on the name, and many will realize how annoying this game is.

Bravo Ubisoft Montreal, time to hire more creative people and less business suits.
